Meet Dr. Murbach
My name is Cole Murbach and I am very excited about joining Citrus Oral & Facial Surgery. I am thrilled to return to my home state as I was born and raised in Windermere, FL. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, a dentist who was born and raised in Hernando County. I have a goldendoodle named Maisy and a cat named Bella. I enjoy running and spending time outdoors, and an avid sports fan. I can be found cheering on the Clemson Tigers and Florida Gators year-round.
I graduated from Clemson University earning a bachelor’s degree in microbiology with a Biomedicine concentration and a minor in business administration. Then, I returned to Florida where my wife and I earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2018.
I am trained in the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, having completed my training at the world-renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston. During my six-year residency, I obtained a medical degree at McGovern Medical School and received a two-year certificate in General Surgery. I trained at Memorial Hermann Hospital, the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Houston Methodist, Ben Taub General, Lyndon B. Johnson Harris County Hospital, and Shriners Children’s Hospital.
I am board-eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and am a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, and the Florida Dental Association. I am certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
